• What is Bug Bam made of?
• All Bug Bam repelling products are made of NAFDAC approved, 100% natural food-grade essential oils impregnated into a band, grid or tag made of approved material called ' thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).
• TPE is actually a 'synthetic latex' that was developed as an alternative to natural latex due to the high number of allergy sufferers allergic to natural latex.
• Both natural and synthetic latex rubbers are more generally referred to as elastomers , and the type of synthetic latex rubber that we use is called a thermoplastic elastomer
Bug Bam works by emitting an ‘aura’ of all natural, plant-based essential oils (hence the strong - yet pleasant - smell each product releases). The Bug Bam ‘aura’ masks these odours we humans (and our pets) emit, effectively making you 'invisible 'to Mosquitoes.
